The big update comes from the 'ICC Rankings' that the Indian national cricket team sells the "No.1" spot in ICC team rankings. After the dominating win against the Australian team in the nagpur test India reached the top spot in test team rankings. Know in 'all three formats' India becomes No.1 ranked team.

By surpassing Australia's '111 Points' but , the difference between this two teams is very small and Australian team can change this very easily.

In the rankings of players after the nagpur test team India's players gets promoted in the rankings. Rohit sharma reached 8th position in test batsmen's rankings. Then after reaching 450 Wickets mark and getting 31th Five wickets hall Ravichandran Ashwin sells 2nd spot in test bowlers rankings. Also after brilliant performance of Axar Patel in batting he gets the 7th position in test all rounders ranking and joins 'Jadej' and 'Ashwin' in top 10.
