Nagpur test hero Ravindra jadeja gets 'punished' by Icc fined 25% of his match fee after allegations of ball tempering from Australian media.
In the BGT series today in nagpur test team India defeated Australia by innings and 132 runs. The hero of the match or man of the match is 'Ravindra jadeja' of team India. He got '7' wickets in the middle '5' from the first innings and '2' in the second innings and scores important '70' runs for the team.
What allegations does Australian media makes on 'Ravindra jadeja' ?
In the nagpur test on first day of match Ravindra jadeja seem by camera that he gets something from Mohammad siraj and applied on the hand then after the stumps on day 1. Australian media channel 'Fox Cricket' posted that picture on Twitter and makes allegations of ball tempering.
But,
After all of this happened the team management of India tells that it was only pain relieving ointment which is jadeja gets from siraj and there is nothing wrong. also match referee said that there is nothing suspicious in it and it's not an ball tempering.
Then why and which punishments jadeja gets from ICC?
Because, The match referee and officials said that the Ravindra jadeja brakes the rules of icc and used the pain relieving ointment without asking our showing the match umpires.
He has been fined his 25% of match fees for breaching level one of the Icc code of conduct during the 1st test against Australia and he also gets '1' demerit point.
Jadeja admitted the offense and accepted the sanctions proposed by 'Andy Pycroft'.
